Event Details
During World War II, American soldiers marched off to battle, rallied their courage, and reflected on life back home through songs. Americans on the home front kept their perspective and solidarity with the troops through music. Radio, records, and even movies were used to stir up and maintain patriotic fervor. Join us for a program that examines American life during the Second World War, through live music and anecdotes presented by John and Kathryn Atwood.
