Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have a green thumb? Have you ever wanted to grow your own food, or plant a beautiful flower garden? Then join us in the tween gardening group as we learn the basics of gardening with hands on practice. In this first class we will learn about plant basics, getting ready for the gardening season, and plant a seed.
This is a reoccurring class that will take place on the first Saturday of the month April –August. Each class will focus on a different aspect of gardening:
Lesson 1—Plant Basics, Prep, and Seed Planting (April 5)
Lesson 2—Transplanting and Care (May 3)
Lesson 3—Pollinators and Pests (June 7)
Lesson 4—Harvesting (July 5)
Lesson 5—Preparing for Winter (Aug 2)
These classes will have both indoor and out door elements so be sure to dress for mess and for the weather.
MUST ATTEND FIRST SESSION ON SATURDAY APRIL 5, 2025 AT 1:00 PM.
